Janine Halloran is the Founder of Encourage Play, a website where she provides simple and practical resources to help children learn social skills through play. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been working with children, adolescents and their families for over 15 years.
When she’s not helping children learn social skills, you can find her playing board games with her family or dancing. She has written for Bay State Parent Magazine and been featured on Mommy Poppins Boston. She has also been featured on Annie Fox’s podcast and The We Turned Out Okay podcast.
When Janine isn’t working, you can find her in her garden or doing an arts and crafts project. She has a weakness for Nutella and Netflix. Janine lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
